THIS COURSE WILL DISCUSS THE INTERACTION BETWEEN BIOSPHERE, CHEMISTRY AND CLIMATE FROM PRESENTATIONS WITH SOME HANDS-ON-EXPERIMENTS. THE CONTENTS OF THIS COURSE INCLUDE:

Carbon Cycle of Terrestrial Ecosystems, Chapter 5
Biogeochemical Cycling on Land, Chapter 6
Biogeochemical in Freshwater, Wetlands and Lakes, Chapter 7
Rivers, Chapter 8
The Oceans, Chapter 9
The Global Water Cycle, Chapter 10
The Global Carbon Cycle, Chapter 11

課程目標
 The goal of this course is to discuss and explore the sensitivity of the climate system to the chemical composition of the atmosphere with an emphasis on the connections to biospheric processes. 
課程要求
 先修:大氣化學概論或地球化學原理, 未有此先修則須與授課老師確定具備所需基礎知識
